I’m Jennifer Long, an abstract artist working primarily in acrylic, watercolor, paper, and mixed media. I create original paintings and works on canvas and paper, along with small works and wearable art. My work is inspired by color, texture, rhythm, memory, and communication.
I rarely begin with a fixed plan. Instead, I follow curiosity, allowing layers, marks, fragments, and unexpected discoveries to guide the work. Some ideas become larger paintings. Others evolve into small works, collage, or wearable art.
Across all of my work runs a common thread: an interest in communication, memory, and the spaces between what is seen, felt, remembered, and understood.
